To say this duck was at my feet would be a lie. I actually had to pick my feet off the ground onto the bench I was sitting on because I was wearing sandals that day and I was afraid she was so hungry she would try to peck my toes. I did give her a piece of my bread, but she only wanted more.
She was most attentive; she wouldn’t leave me alone for 7 minutes, and she ultimately only left because someone with more food came along.
