Day six was a mostly pleasant day. I spent eight hours at work, surprise, surprise, but I still found the time to get things done that needed done. More progress was made on my bedroom, and while it’s still not finished, it looks better than it has in many years. I foresee being able to finish at least the bedroom project if nothing else at the end of the thirty days. At least I’ll be able to say that I have a clean, peaceful room. Not that I do much in there besides sleep, but it’s nice to know it’s a habitable space again.
The highlight of my day was an hour long run on the trail. Actually, it was two half hour runs back to back, but I was still outdoors for the entire hour. I did a little bit of regular run work in preparation for the Dirty Girl, followed by one of the 5k training programs in the Zombies, Run! I wish Sam wasn’t so hung up over the old runner five.
Speaking of my physical health, I have no idea how much I weigh. None at all. I suppose I could kick on the Wii if I really wanted to find out, but nobody wants to hear that little scale tell them they’re obese. It’s demoralizing, and it doesn’t account for muscle mass at all. I can’t find my tape measure either. I have no idea if any of my efforts are paying off. Help.
